Privacy
Digital Doctor is a journalistic site. We do not run patient accounts and we do not hold clinical records. This notice explains the small amount of information we do handle.
What we collect
- Contact form. Name, email, topic and message. The form posts to our
/api/contactendpoint and is forwarded to support@worldwidebacklinks.com so the editors can reply. - Server logs. Ordinary hosting logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) may be stored briefly by the platform that serves the site.
- We do not use advertising cookies, sell reader lists, or build a marketing profile from these pages.
Why we collect it
To answer editorial mail, record corrections, and keep the site working. That is a legitimate journalistic purpose. If you pitch a guest essay we will keep the correspondence while we consider it.
Where it goes
Contact messages are emailed to support@worldwidebacklinks.com. The delivery path may include a form-to-email service. Do not send health information, Medicare numbers or anyone else's personal details through the form.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you from a contact submission, and ask us to delete it, by writing to the editors. For broader privacy questions the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner publishes guidance on the Australian Privacy Principles.
